We start by evaluating your glove and noting any special areas of concerns or issues. After removing all loose debris and dirt, as well as scraping old palm adhesive away, we’ll then remove all the old laces and begin to deconstruct your glove. We will begin to clean the leather making sure it is free of dirt, sweat and grime by applying our pH balanced, human grade leather cleaner. Once your glove is cleaned and prepared for the lacing process we’ll apply new palm grease and begin to lace up your glove with the color of lace chosen at checkout.
The process is time consuming and delicate care is taken to ensure that all lacing patterns are restored to factory methods. We go above and beyond because we are not mass producing gloves and we take our time to make sure all of the lace is split to the proper thickness and knotted correctly.
